We are delighted to introduce Rev. Kathy Keener, our new Presbyterian pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Newport, Oregon. Pastor Kathy brings over three decades of dedicated ministry experience, having been ordained in 1989.
Throughout her extensive pastoral journey, Pastor Kathy has served in various capacities, including interim pastor positions where she guided congregations through significant transitions. Her leadership is characterized by compassionate pastoral care, dynamic preaching, and a steadfast commitment to community engagement. She has a profound ability to connect with individuals across all walks of life, fostering inclusive and welcoming environments that reflect the love and grace of Christ.
Pastor Kathy’s dedication to spiritual formation is evident in her innovative approaches to worship and education.
