Next Sunday, October 5, worship begins at 11 in the morning instead of at 10, because company is coming! Plan to be here for World Communion Sunday. Presbyterians and friends from Chapel by the Sea in Lincoln City, are coming, from Community Presbyterian Church in Yachats and from Community Presbyterian Church in Waldport.
This is our second annual Central Coastal Presbyterian worship and potluck. Last year’s gathering left us on a high! Over 35 singers filled the choir loft! Good News stories from our ministries inspired! We renewed acquaintances and made new friends. Breaking bread at Communion was deeply meaningful and the potluck was a bounteous celebration as we gathered around tables.
We share responsibilities for the day with folks from the other churches, but still need some help – especially with clean-up after the potluck. Sign up today with Helen Keagle if you can help.
Sunday Oct. 5: Wear your nametag, come at 10 if you are singing in the choir or at your assigned time if you are helping before worship. The service begins at 11am.
Bring a dish to share for the potluck. A special offering will be received for Food Share.
